I watched a tutorial on how to make dresses out of pillow cases. It is ridiculously easy! I made four in one hour.They are very cute as well..

So what will I be doing with my new ability to sew these cute easy dresses?I will be making them for the little girls in Haiti and possibly Kenya..

I need all the pillow cases I can get so with your donated pillow cases (hint hint ;)) We can give little gorgeous dresses to some very deserving little gorgeous girls.

I grew up with a mom who cooked homemade meals every dinner time,even if we did have pizza once in a while it was homemade..I do make most of our meals and I try to make them as healthy as possible. I have learned in the past few years to make a lot of food from scratch there really is not much you need to by pre made.

This year I started a veggie garden with peppers,tomatoes and cucumbers we also have a pumpkin patch..It's not a ton of veggies but I(the girl who kills everything)need to start of small.I would love to be able to grow enough veggies in time that most of our vegetables would be from our garden..Also I love getting the girls involved in the process.Bailey has her own garden that is an herb garden and well marlee umm....ok I had to put up a fence to keep her out of my veggie garden(in the process of getting a bigger fence) for now because she will destroy it! but in time Im sure she will be helpful as well;)

Babies love watching other babies so there was no surprise Marlee  loved the movie 'Babies' ..She has seen it probably three times and It is one of the only things that will keep her still for longer than a minute!

Our first fire at our house..I would like to take the credit but Dave had to help me start it and keep it going and put it out but hey I got it down for next time;)

 p.s an animal left me a nice smelly present in one of the corner "gardens" I think it was a cat mistaking it for a litter box..

I am really starting to love gardening.I don't know if it's for the fruits of labour factor or to get away from the kids for an hour to weed but either way I love it!

I  got a few tasks done on my childless saturday.I was able to work on our fire pit area as well as accomplished some major dirty/bug infested gardening.It feels good to actually get stuff done around here!
