What ever it is..

Bailey has gone through so many stages of fear..Fear of fire,fear of floods,fear of the roof of buildings falling down and of course your typical monster fears etc..but right now she is really only afriad of RACCOONS?? Everytime we go to get in the car she freaks out that there might be a Raccoon under it.At her Daycare she doesn't want me to park to close to a hole in the grass because she thinks that a Raccoon lives in it!! I know it is scary for her but I think it is so cute and funny( I don't laugh infront of her only behind her back)There is always something that has her on edge and what ever it is she eventaully gets over it..So cute!!

Dreams...

I had a horrible dream last night..Ever since I was young I have had very morbid, detailed,disturbing dreams..Last night though I had a dream that my Husband,Daughter and Mother all died.It was very very real..I woke up and was so happy to see my husband beside me and I just started to cry..I am so grateful for my family and love them so much!! Even though these dreams are horrible it reminds me how lucky I am and to not take the moments I share with my family for granted!I can't imagine that some people actually go through this stuff for real and I hope and pray that I will never have to experience what that really feels like...

Best Children's book ever!

This is my Favorite Children's book..It has such great teaching's and is such a beautiful book..I think everyone should own it!

More coffee more problems!

I was on my way home tonight and I really felt like a coffee(half coffee,half vanilla cap)So as I pulled into the parking lot and was getting my wallet out I noticed that a pen had busted in my purse!! Grrrr... all over everything especially my wallet and my hands.I grabbed my wallet trying not to touch the ink on it and noticed that after I sat it on the Tim Horton's counter the ink got all over that too..With my wallet in one hand and my coffee and keys in the other I was determined to throw my ink covered napkin in the garbage without setting anything down. Of course my keys fall into the very full garbage bin!Luckily there was a very nice man that noticed and dug all through the garbage bin to retrieve my keys for me! That was so nice of him..Kinda funny how his wife asked if he wanted to wash his hands and he said he would do it in the Car!! What? What car has a sink in it??

I have so many ideas for our home for in the future but I still like the way it is now...I do what I can with what we have and it's our home and feels like our home that's the most important thing! I really don't like when a house is cold looking and uninviting..

Bailey and I had fun beating the crap out of an old dresser..I think she liked the fact she could ruin something and it be totally fine. I can't wait till our next project,its a great way to get out frustration!

Daddy's Girl

This is one of my Favorite pictures!Daddy's are always so cute when they try to do their daughters hair.You can always tell when a Daddy was on morning duty and the ones to get the kids ready for school.. Dave was away this weekend and Bailey missed him so much!! She always calls him her Bubba( That's what one of the names we call her) She cried a bit for him and it was very sweet!

Joel!

Crazy Uncle Joel!! I have been friends with Joel for about 15 yrs now and he has always been so willing to go with the flow, which is perfect for Bailey because she always has games up her sleves for any willing person! He's Crazy and I love him for that!

Keeping up with the Joneses!

I had a night to myself because Dave was away and Bailey was at her Nana's house..So I decide to throw caution to the wind and go for a walk at 8:30pm (I know exciting eh! but what else is a pregger lady suppose to do on a Sat night) The area I live in has a bit of everything The street I live on has our Town homes a Group house and that's it.Walk a bit further and you are in an upper class area..Walk a bit further and you have Subsidized housing..So I go around the block and there's really not much to look at however I did notice something interesting..All of the Upper class houses have exterior lights and they were all on,every single house was lit up by tons of light bulbs..(At our house we only put the outside light on if we are expecting someone)..All I could think about was the saying 'Keeping up with the Joneses' Its very true that everyone of these houses was competing with the next..As I kept walking around to a couple streets over where the Subsidized house were I noticed something allot different..There were no lights on at all and all I could think about was that these people can't afford keeping their lights on all night(stereotyping maybe but also observing the situation)Why would all there lights be off and all the Upper class lights be on...I just thought that was kinda interesting!! Such close quarters but such different lives...

I Love Children's Rooms

I think if I was to go to school again it would be to become a designer and I would just design Children's rooms..They are so much fun! I guess I will just have to work on my own children's rooms..These are super cute rooms!

I know my life revolves around Bailey these days and to others who don't have kids it's hard to understand..I remember thinking before I had her how could you possibly love someone so much..
So I may talk about her allot but I am very proud of her..She is so smart! I can't believe How much a five yr old knows.Here's the problem though...I don't consider myself the smartest person academically(i don't even know if that is spelt right)so already she is challenging me..I do math flash cards with her and I frantically try to come up with an answer before she does..I don't know how im going to do her homework with her when she is like in grade 3(I hear that grade is really hard now) Oh man..I need to start looking questions up on the internet now so I am ready by the time she is..Yikes!!

Bailey's uncles!

I love love this picture! I have Great Brothers and Bailey has Awesome Uncles..They will both be great dad's someday(if they have kids) I can't wait to see what their children would be like...So weird still how much we have grown into our own lives that are all so different yet we have a close bond and except each other for who we are and where we are going in life.I feel sometimes that I just woke up one morning and here I am married with almost two kids..Even though time is going so fast and changing so much I will always have my memories.Growing up with two older brothers was fun when I look back at it now..:)

Gathering old books and belts from around the house or buying cheap ones from a thrift store could be a cheap and innovative way to create an end table..

24 weeks

I can't believe how much my stomach has grown in only a month..Three and a half more to go!!

Silly Swine Flu!!

For the last week I have been sleeping with a hospital mask on at night to protect myself from this stupid Swine Flu thing.Dave has had a cough and a soar throat so I figure I better not let him breath on me..I had a laugh in the car today because I was listening to some people on the radio talking about how some people who are not high risk are borrowing other peoples kids so they can get the shot.I can't wait for this to be over but I also know that when this ends there will be something else to worry about..

This was about a month or so ago and My belly is allot bigger now!! That was a fun day with my girl.She was freaked out because I pulled over to the side of the road in the country and made her walk down a hill that had very high grass..she had no idea what I was doing.
